Maria Drozd is an experienced garden designer, horticulturist, and garden consultant based in the Scottish Highlands.

With over 25 years of professional experience, Maria holds a Master’s degree in Horticulture and a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture.

Born and raised on a farm in Poland, Maria grew up deeply connected to the rhythms of nature, which remains at the heart of her work today.

She has lived in Scotland for the past 17 years, where she raised her family and made the Highlands her home.

Maria offers expert garden design and consultancy services across Inverness and Highlands — from compact gardens to expansive private estates.

Her work balances practicality, beauty, and purpose, ensuring each space not only looks stunning but also thrives naturally over time.

Her designs are tailored to the unique needs of every client, blending horticultural expertise, artistic vision, and digital planning skills.

In addition to creating new gardens, Maria provides year-round care and consultancy for a select number of established gardens, building lasting relationships with both clients and landscapes.

As a certified Feng Shui consultant, Maria can also design gardens that align with Feng Shui principles, supporting the flow of positive energy (Chi) and promoting harmony between people and nature.
